Meet the Founder

Dr. Marquisha Frost, Queen & creator of Queens Do Things Inc. website|blog, is an ambitious and creative, woman, wife and mother. She is originally from Omaha, Nebraska but currently resides in Georgia with her husband and son where she works as a professor and educational consultant.

She enjoys working with students to help them reach their full potential See a cover feature from Claremont Graduate University here. Dr. Frost received both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a M.Ed. and Doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration at Claremont Graduate University.

She enjoys serving as an educational advocate and recently launched her own academic counseling, coaching and consulting company, Elite College Knowledge, to assist others in educational access and advancement. She also enjoys writing, spending time with family, reading, working with & mentoring under-represented & underprivileged female youth and creating spaces of inclusion among youth of color that foster mental, physical, emotional and spiritual growth.

Working with young students, specifically minority women, Marquisha noticed a lack of self-confidence, guidance and self-love along with a disparity of spaces and places where the voices of young women of color are heard rather than silenced, their stories shared rather than shunned, and their needs exceeded rather than neglected. Through this web-blog and its work, she intends to connect with and inspire young people, particularly women, across the world!
